Sera Myu Style Sailor Mercury

After seeing Morino Ayako as Sailor Mercury, I knew I had to do a Mercury Myu Fuku.  The shininess of it all entranced me.

Of course I couldn't find quite the right materials to make it authentic, but I tired as hard as I could.  There are many things I don't like about the costume, but people seem to be quite impressed with it. I plan to make a new one eventually with correct materials and better... everything (except for maybe my lovely brooch). I'd like to redo this with accurate trim, circle skirts, and a foam boddice. That'd be lovely. I didn't have a photo shoot with this one yet as I didn't like it much, so most of these pictures are from conventions.
