SoA's Con Journal

This con was some of the most fun I've had at a con in a long time. I spent nearly all of my time with some people from the Tower of Time or with Salad Time Soldiers, all fantastic people. Plus, I spent most of the weekend as my favorite anime heroine, Sailor Mercury.

Friday night, we rolled in just in time for our cosplay check-in for the masquerade, then spent the rest of the evening exploring the con as our Otaku Senshi. We confused quite a few people, but this time, I wasn't being mistaken for Saturn, it was Sakky as Astera in stead. We even met another otaku senshi cosplayer.

Saturday I dressed in the morning as the manga concept sketch style Mercury and in the later afternoon, myu Sailor Mercury. Both were recieved really well. I participated in the masq with Elly and Amanda dancing La Moon. We did great and people reacted really well to us. Over all, the masq was great with amazing skits and performances.

Sunday was a little slower. I dressed as Princess Mercury, and wound up spending much of the day sitting around on the stairs, chatting with friends.
